• Where do your nannies come from?
  
  

  Our nannies come from all over the world, but mostly from Europe.

  
  
• How long does the recruitment process take?
  
  
  Once a client registers, we review our current files to identify candidates we believe will be suitable for the position. The recruitment process takes anywhere from 24 hours to 6 weeks. Nannies from overseas usually take 2-3 months, due to immigration process.
  
  
• What is a typical nannies salary?
  
  

  Salaries for full time live in nannies vary from $ 800-1600 per month net.
  Salaries for live out nannies vary from $ 1400-2000 per month net.
  Part time nannies earn $9-15/hr.

• Are there any other requirements if a potential employer wants to obtain a live-in nanny/caregiver from overseas?
  
  Yes. A potential employer may be required to advertise within Canada before being allowed to offer a position to a candidate from overseas. This is a requirement of the Canadian government. Our candidates from overseas have extensive files which include completed application forms, a letter of introduction, childcare references, various diplomas/certificates, photographs of themselves and with the children that they have looked after, etc.

• How do Nanny Shares work?
  
  Where two families employ a Nanny to look after all their children in one job. Normally one family will take on the responsibility of employing the nanny. The nanny can work in one home or can travel from one family to the other.

• If a Nanny Lives-in what facilities/accommodation should we provide?
  
  
  The Nanny must have her own bedroom room and bathroom, desk and sufficient storage space as well.

• If we use Ellnet Care do we have to pay a registration fee?
  
  There is no registration fee for joining Ellnet. You only pay an agency fee once you have reached an employment agreement with your nanny.
